Welcome to the library.

Welcome to the library.

The rest of the site is what I do for work. This is everything else — the apps I have built, the games I am making, some of my art, and a little of what the rest of my life looks like when I am not building, developing or drawing.

Kingdoms & Crowns

Homeschool Platform · In Beta

Problem
Homeschool planning is fragmented across curriculum sites and paper, and none of it is built for the person actually doing the work: the kid.
What I Built
A hub tracking a full week per child. Parents set each student's subjects, link their curriculum sites and build custom assignments; kids work through them on a timer that persists across tabs and devices, and earn rewards for staying on task.
Outcome
In beta with a small group of families.
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Drizzle

Art

Digital, pencil, ink and paint. I have been making art far longer than I have been writing code.

A volume per medium — take one down.

Digital

Off the clock

  • Reading and writing

I read constantly, and I love to write. There’s a book in progress right now and a whole queue of other ideas I can’t wait to get to.

  • Homeschooling

I homeschool my kids, which is where Kingdoms & Crowns came from.

  • Outside

    Paddleboarding and hiking.

  • A lot of pets

    Cats, dogs and fish.

  • Games

Video games, board games, and D&D.

  • Anime

I’ve watched it for years, and it turns up in my art whether I plan it or not.

  • Concerts

With my husband and my daughter — and my son whenever he wants to join in.

Say hi
